I have just used this video to begin a SOSE unit on "Caring For Our Earth". I chose it over heaps of others because of its visual appeal and easy to understand wording for year 5 students. It's titled Earth Day 2009 and gives students a brief rundown on the importance of caring for our enviroment.

- I am a mature aged flex student in my third year of an Associate Degree in Learning Management. (Hoping to complete my full degree after this one). I am what is now termed as a digital immigrant so really need to be doing this course to keep up with my future students. I am living my dream. After years of living in towns I am back on the land raising cattle and kids. I work in a small school not far from where I live.
